| A few
days before my family, friends and I went home to the Philippines
for a holiday, I surfed the internet. I started with www.josemariascribainfo,
and chanced upon the Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation. I
was immediately attracted to it, as it is located in my
country, the Philippines and because I am a nurse at Imperial
College NHS Trust at Mary's Hospital in London I was attracted
to visit the place.
I believe it was God's providence which led me to them and
to discover their vision and mission, through Ms. Gina Cabrera,
the Foundation's administrative assistant. The Foundation's
mission is to help the poorest among the poor, to carry
the torch of love and faith, that "whatever you do to the
least of my brothers, you do unto Me".
I started my involvement with a small project, the construction
of the Hospice facility gate, a project I was able to realize
with the help of all my friends and colleagues in London.
My gratitude to all of them, and a special thank you to
my husband and children for their prayers and support...."the
more generous you are for God, the happier you will be."

Yours in Christ and Mary
